I have represented a wide array of clients involved in sophisticated litigation matters in federal and state courts throughout the United States, and have successfully prosecuted and defended claims involving a variety of legal issues including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and other business torts, breach of joint venture and partnership agreements, intellectual property claims, real estate disputes, real estate taxation disputes, health care litigation, employment discrimination and other labor disputes, First Amendment claims, defamation claims (including slander and libel), consumer fraud claims, RICO claims, securities litigation, class actions, insurance litigation, antitrust and trade regulation claims, and others. Before founding Longford Capital in 2012, I was a key member of the trial team in a five-week jury trial in federal district court involving claims of fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and defamation with more than $575 million in controversy. I have also served as outside general counsel to clients and have regularly provided advice concerning litigation strategy, litigation finance, case management, claim valuation, risk assessment and mitigation, alternative dispute resolution, insurance coverage, settlement negotiations, contracts, and other issues.
