PROFESSIONAL CAREER: My career started over 30 years ago, working in the field running a remodeling company specializing with homes and light commercial projects. After getting involved with home inspections I started with working in Smyrna as a city inspector then I had the opportunity to be the start up building official for Georgia’s two largest cities; Dunwoody and Brookhaven. With those cities I developed and set up the inspections department and oversaw code enforcement. I have spent the last several years working as back up or fill in for jurisdictions from North Georgia to South Atlanta. I have had the pleasure to work with and in, over 17 jurisdictions in Georgia in one capacity or another.FOCUS:My focus is and always has been about training and education, so we can bring a large array of services to the consumer. Through the ICC I have 43 certifications and have spent 10 years on the exam development committees with the code development body. I am one of 800 Master Code Professionals a certification that’s recognized Internationally. I have provided training for Architects (AIA Credits) Building Inspectors (ICC credits) and Builders and Contractors in Georgia and Alabama.
