Residential Development Project Manager
Current Identifying and evaluating new development opportunities which meet local housing need and the Association’s objectives. To assess the financial viability of prospective schemes in conjunction with our development partners To negotiate the purchase of land and property when required. To develop a suitable brief for each new development in conjunction with internal and externalstakeholders. To ensure that our development partners make application for capital grants in accordance with dueprocess and administer the recovery of any grant awarded. To approve consultant’s design and tender documentation in consultation with the CEO and the operationsteam. To assist the Chief Executive to deliver the Association’s development programme, liaising with funding and partner agencies, ensuring take up of allocations and maximising use of available fundingopportunities. To prepare project budgets and to ensure that all expenditure and income is closely monitored andcontrolled, liaising with the Development Manager where necessary. To ensure all developments are constructed to comply with the Association’s internal standards, theLondon Housing Design Guide and all other relevant standards. To ensure that all buildings developed by the Association comply with statutory and regulatoryrequirements and meet our development strategy. To review existing stock for development and or disposal opportunities in conjunction with the active asset management system. To support the CEO in all aspects of new business including stock acquisitions and stock transfers.
