Main product are fastening engineering solutions in Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial and Commercial products. Key focus of the position was to drive customer satisfaction improvements in all segments and reduction in COPQ (Cost of poor quality) through training of the teams, Kaizen and other events. Support global quality initiatives and customer support to assure company targets are met. Initial target for the position was to align all global facilities and drive common KPI's and targets within the quality leads in the different regaions.

Executive Quality Manager for facility of appr. 1.5 mill sqft. Lead of a team of 8 Quality Managers. ZF is a producer of high end automotive automatic transmission. Overall target is to produce up to 1 million transmission / year. Key Team member to launch the facility from a green field. Responsible for all quality related items from supplier quality, internal quality for manufacturing, assembly and test and customer quality activities. The facility was a green field project.

Responsible to develop a quality system for supplier quality activities for several Carrier facilities and development of key new suppliers. Drive a global approach for all facilities in Asia, Europe and NA. Developed common systems for all supplier quality related activities. Focus activities were to develop common tools such as APQP, PPAP, and other automotive based activities throughout the Carrier Transicold facilities. Other topics was the development of alternative global suppliers and train local supplier teams on Carrier requirements and tools. Part of several Shainin projects to improve customer impact defects and implementation of solutions.

Initally Supplier Quality Manager to support launch of joint venture between Ford and ZF for the CVT transmission. Leading activities for new supplier development and a team of appr. 25 Engineers and Technicians. In 2003 extension of responsibility to include in-process quality engineering team.
