About Michael Nothnagel

Since relocating from Chicago to Nashville in 2015 it has been exciting to be part of a community which is fueled by innovation, collaboration, relationships and trust. While in undergraduate studies I had taken a single MIS class and from that I never imagined I would venture into the IT field.Fast forward over a decade later and I have had the privilege to work for a handful of IT services companies. As much as it is about the “bits and bytes” it is invigorating to explore how IT transforms organizations to innovate, compete and better serve their customers.Understanding the importance of cybersecurity is a catalyst for organizations to remain at the forefront of their business endeavors. While the cybersecurity market has become noisy, and even congested, companies such as CrowdStrike don’t have your typical fluffy mission statement with redundant buzzwords. Simply put, at CrowdStrike, we don’t have a mission statement- we are on a mission to protect our customers from breaches. Speaking to parents and children on the importance of online safety is a passion of mine. Do we understand application privacy policies? How can what we post and share online impact us in the long run, both positive and negative? Whatever we click, post, share we must always remain vigilant in order to not become the next victim.
