Melling was founded in 1946 as a supplier of high quality oil pumps for the automotive aftermarket. Through the years Melling has built a strong reputation for delivering quality engine products at a competitive price. The combination of my education, work experience, automotive interests, creativity and enthusiasm has allowed me to work with many aspects of Melling, its subsidiaries and customers, both OE and aftermarket. I have had the privilege to work on lubrication projects for the Ford GT 5.4L DOHC Supercharged engine, GM's RWD & AWD Northstar engines and GM's High Value 3.5L & 3.9L V-6 engine. I was the team leader responsible for the design and development of a new product line of lightweight billet performance oil pumps for GM's small block and big block V-8 applications. A version of those patented designs was awarded the "Best New High Performance Product Award" at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. My past experience includes the design and/or improvement of a wide assortment of original equipment, replacement and performance oil pumps.
