Grant Coordinator: Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund & Victorian Floods Disaster Relief Fund Assessing and investigating applications for funds following the 2009 bushfires and 2011 floods. Involved creating relationships with disaster-affected clients, liaising with local government and non- government organizations.Assisted in the development of policy for new grants, allowing additional funds to get to displaced home-owners, renters, victim requiring counseling and community sup-port grounds. Other responsibilities included database management, business-to-business and business-to-consumer communication, writing appeal documents for the Fund’s board, as well as crisis management.
