(1) Improved Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) from 35% to 78% on Pico Flex manufacturing machine. (2) Eliminated tool breakage and excess downtime on stamping machines through innovative implementation of waste vacuum systems.• The successful implementation of a CMMS maintenance system that covers all maintenance tasks within the Stamping department. Enabled efficient, traceable accountable maintenance system.• Completed standardization of machine lubrication and tool safety systems for all machines in the department resulting in knowledge standardization, reduced downtime and reduced spares costs.• Streamlined the Stamping department machines location by value streams, for a more seamless and efficient product delivery. Reduced unnecessary movements by 75%.• The removal of the need for open source compressed air in all stamping tools, resulting in a reduction of 25% of total compressed air used within the department.• Installation of sensor LED lighting in all machine enclosures, led to 40% reduction in lighting costs.
