I have produced mobility software since 1989, initial deployment was one of the first Route Systems in New Zealand, this was for the NZ Apple and Pear Marketting board (which then became Enza then Frucor). I have been involved in architecting and managing the entire development cycle of mobility software and associated middleware ever since. Contract role writing a Podcast publishing application for Pacific Media Network Radio Station.I designed and built a podcast publishing tool used to automate podcast broadcasting to a REST based internet server for distribution to the international client base of the radio station. Technology used was .NET Core and integration to a REST API.The application was console based so that it integrated easily into the clients existing infrastructure and could be automated easily using their existing tool and skillsets.Result for the client was the streamlining of what was previously a manual task which allowed staff to utilise their time better to concentrate on other tasks.
