Advise ALANA and international students to facilitate cultural awareness and adaptation, personal advancement andacademic success through outreach and development of on-going relationships with students. Coordinate programs through MERC to advance personal and campus-wide cultural awareness and development. Provide leadership for the coordination of ALANA and international related programming, including but not limitedto Black History Month, Latino Month, and Asian Awareness Month, Stripes Ceremony. Coordinate and advance the work of Campus Conversations on Race (CCOR). Develop and maintain a robust team oftrained student and staff facilitators to present regular CCOR programming in and out of the classroom. Coordinate Orientation programming for international exchange students. Develop connections with all student veterans and coordinate a robust program of support programs and experiencesdesigned to promote their retention and graduation and enhance their student experience. Coordinate the MCLA Veteran’s Resource Center (VRC) and its steering committee; hire, train and supervise studentemployees for the VRC. Consult and collaborate with key offices and academic departments to support the transition and successfulintegration of ALANA students, international students, veterans, and diverse populations into Massachusetts Collegeof Liberal Arts. Connect students with scholarship, internship, service and leadership opportunities and awardprograms. Coordinate and chair MCLA award processes related to diverse student populations, such as the Mitch WestScholarship, Margaret Hart Scholarship, Multicultural Achievement Award and others. Sit on various committees: Student Leadership Committee, Professional Development Committee, WellnessCommittee, Diversity Task Force Committee, and Creating Equality Advisory Board.
