I am now retired from the workforce.

Just recently I completed managing the design, test and implementation of 4 heterogeneous dual fabric SAN islands with over 26 switches, and a total port count of 512. These SAN's incorporate systems running HP-UX, SUN Solaris, HP OpenVMS and Microsoft Windows 2000 Server. The SAN supports both disk and tape technologies and incorporates some of the newest virtualization hardware and software from HP. Through this implementation of technology, SBC was able to see a 200% performance improvement in batch cycle and backup times, while lowering our overall disk and tape budget by 50% from the traditional EMC architecture. Additional manpower benefits were seen with this technology enhancement, as our storage under management increased by 50% with no increased staffing. Since 1985, I have focused on computer system design, implementation, maintenance and architecture. As Senior Manager for Danlaw Inc for three years or so, I was responsible for the technical architecture of General Motors Virtual Truck program and the development of Professional Services. Additional experience in other fields also reinforces my value to a potential employer. As a professional management consultant I have had the opportunity to provided services to corporations and government agencies such as Lockheed Space & Missiles (California), Lockheed Space Operations Co (Florida), Lockheed Engineering & Sciences Co (Texas), Exxon USA (Texas), and multiple USG Security Agencies and Exxon USA as part of their Start up Team. My vast experiences can on translate to a positive force for your company.Although, while this experience more than qualifies me to join any number of successful companies, it seems during this time in the market my age may be eliminating me from competition. I believe my computer, promotional and organizational skills, fueled by my convictions and passion for excellence, matched with the right company. Would make a dynamic paring.
