I have always loved solving mysteries and problems and organize pieces of data since I can remember. and by working towards the Google certification for data analytics, I can turn my passion that used to be a mind game I would play with myself into reality. Presently, I'm changing gears in order to obtain some constancy back into my life and gain skills to be remote and work professionally. So, as I've always loved knowledge and data and being a technician of a science to do something reputable to benefit beyond my own interests. My past career endeavors have led me, unwittingly at times, to having run ins with data and manipulating it to not just my advantage but also the advantage of my colleagues and co-workers. I have had instances where I have utilized data to increase profits. when working for a clothing line I utilized spread sheets to figure out what was moving the most and what could be used to bait people in as loss leaders. I also worked for a company where I delivered DEF to Amtrak and Chicago transit authority where I used data to figure out how to fill the trains efficiently enough to shave a significant amount of time off the actual work hours as the actual work hours involved being on the tracks were dangerous. So, in addition to the benefit to the company, there was also an additional benefit to the employees as it reduced a lot of stress. This is where I realized that data and I had a future because I saw that no matter what I was doing, or anyone for that matter, data was always somehow running in the background. I feel my character is evenly balanced by the arts and the sciences and although I feel I have a lot of redeeming qualities, I have a lot to improve on as well as learn.I would jump at the chance to have a remote position working as a data analyst to do what I love to do and that's what I'm working towards. I love to meet new people and on a personal level as well as network, so I look forward to linking up in the near future.
