Responsible for the Technical Support of Systems that run Value Added Services offered to Safaricom subscribers. The main responsibilities include; Change Management, System Maintenance, System Faulting and process improvement.Key Roles;To Ensure messaging platforms systems continuously perform within or exceed KPI, ensure ability of the network to support specific forms of traffic, and to support end user experience SLAs;Managing Third Party access to M-PESA API services using Broker platformIntegration of USSD and SDP to external systems including databases & Third Party Web applications.Hardening of SDP,Portal,USSDGW, Voicemail, SMSC platforms;Network Integration of SMSC,USSD,VoiceMail systems to core network elements including HLR,MSS and STP;Participate in the implementation of new Projects and/or service enhancements;Debug and resolve faults on all equipments deployed for VAS services and escalate to supplier if required to and follow through until resolution;

My role as NMC Engineer includes:First line fault clearance and escalation of radio and core network failures to relevant groups both internally and externally ensuring minimal downtime. Timely escalations of quality cases as gathered from network tools/customer complaintsManagement of planned works by ensuring that all planned works are carried out within scheduled times. Accurate reporting and documentation of all failure report with proactive update on risk affecting events and documentation

My role included construction of high and low overhead lines,installation of underground and overhead service cables,capturing hotspots by means of thermo cameras and correcting hotspots,installation and repair air break switches,measure earthing and voltage level of transformers and diagnose and repaired faults.
