Michael Ogburn is a mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience in research, engineering, and application of energy efficiency and renewable energy in transportation and buildings. Projects include: cloud-based energy monitoring software, statewide alt-fuels training, powertrain design on the Hybrid Escape at Ford, the conceptual design of a doubled-efficiency tractor trailer, and the construction of Virginia Tech's hydrogen powered sedan that was the worlds-first highway capable vehicle of its kind not built by a major auto company.
