Michael Ogunleye is a budding serial entrepreneur and intrapreneur from southwestern Nigeria. He is the Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Surprises Nigeria Ltd. where he began his creative design and professional managerial journey as far back as 2008. He has helped the company grow from a one-client-per-time company to one that delivers custom-made designs and services to multiple clients per-time. The true ingredient for success throughout this transition to a leading brand is Michael's ability to survey the market, liaise with the best vendors to deliver only quality services, and generate disruptive ideas to climb to the top of the chain in the fast-growing but VUCA service delivery industry.Today, Michael is overseeing the big leap the company is undertaking and this is coming at a time he is vastly prepared for a role like this as he recently graduated with a BSc Econs (Hons) and amongst the top 10% in the University of Ibadan Faculty of Economics. He also has been awarded the Global Leaders Scholarship to further his business reality with an MBA degree at Nexford University in Washington, DC. He currently takes the course on-line. Michael has also been selected as one of the brightest young fellows to join a network of thriving young Nigerian entrepreneurs - The Bridge Fellowship Program. He was also selected to be part of the growing community of change-makers across the YALI (West Africa) fellowship. Just last year, he was honored by the Lephare Consults as one of the pioneering scholars in a development initiative - Lephare Consults.Michael is an optimist and if you should forget anything about Michael, do not forget that he is a champion when it comes to getting the work done.
