Hello, I am Michael Ogunyemi, and I am passionate about the tax law field. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in accounting at the University of Texas at Dallas. To further expand my knowledge beyond conventional means, so that I may achieve my career goals.I am committed to my aspiration of becoming a Tax Lawyer in the future. My focus is currently directed toward the audits and tax law field, which is important in establishing a solid foundation in tax and business-related fields. This foundation will ultimately pave the way for me to become an expert in my chosen field.What fuels my passion for the business law sector is its inclination to reward those who harness innovative ideas and possess a list of unconventional skills. I am wholeheartedly dedicated to advancing my skills and expanding my knowledge as part of my preparation for a career in Tax Law. In pursuit of this goal, I have begun to acquire various certifications, including but not limited to Fraud Detection, Microsoft Excel, Tableau Data Systems, SQL, and Python. These certifications show my unwavering commitment to honing my expertise and staying aligned with the evolving industry trends. These certifications will also serve as tools that will prepare me for prospective accounting internships and form the foundation of my future career in Tax law.I have actively engaged in both the John Marshall Pre-Law Society and the Accounting Club at my university. These clubs help me in my goal of one day working in the tax law field, as I am provided with invaluable insight, connections, and opportunities.
