Wide knowledge and experience in malaria control of >15 years, especially in controlling malaria vectors. Since 1996 to date, been Focal Person for malaria vector control and research in the NMCP/MOH in Uganda, including indoor residual spraying (IRS) planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation, bio-assays, insecticide susceptibility studies, etc. Have also been responsible for malaria epidemic surveillance in NMCP/MOH. Participated in the production of various National Malaria Policy and Strategic Plans and Annual Work-plans as well various guidelines for the management and control of malaria in Uganda.

Responsible for coordinating planning, research and monitoring malaria vector control interventions including IRS, LLINs and Larval control. Coordinate with partners involved in malaria vector control and research. Participate in the production of various National Malaria Policy and Strategic Plans and Annual Work-plans as well various guidelines and SBCC materials for the management and control of malaria in Uganda.

Vector-borne disease control with emphasis on malaria and sleeping sickness including vector control as well as disease surveillance. Also involved in household pest control. Training of Vector Control Officer and Entomologists
