Manage all sales and marketing activities for strategic channel partners in support of revenue and business unit expansion objectives.

Primary focus is channel development, sales and marketing with Hitachi Data Systems (HDS). HDS hardware and software solutions ranging from Network Attached Storage (NAS), Modular/Unified storage, Enterprise storage, Storage Virtualization, Object/File and Content and Unified Compute Platform.

Work with assigned Account Executives and Systems Engineers to develop technical configurations and quotes for existing customer base. Primary focus is Enterprise Server and Storage solutions that include Support, Managed and Professional services. Vendor product and operational knowledge includes CISCO, EMC, HP, IBM, HDS, Oracle/SUN and VMWare. Scheduled planning and road mapping sessions to develop and maintain relationships with end users, vendors and distribution partners. Develop sales strategy to prospect new opportunities leveraging partner channel programs and current market trends. Utilize business software to maintain and track all opportunities to convey pipeline and forecasts to executive team.

Collaborate with sales management, marketing and engineers to develop and implement channel strategy to recruit and maintain existing distribution, reseller, and end user partners within the Rocky Mountain and Central regions. Primary focus is OEM and Enterprise storage solutions consisting of Direct Attached Storage, Storage Area Network RAIDs, Arrays, and JBODs with software data services such as Thin Provisioning, Mirroring, Snapshots, and Remote Replication. Managed, projected, and reported pipeline opportunities to applicable sales management, distribution, and reseller partners.

Primary focus is channel development with reseller and vendor partners focusing on Storage and Server Solutions. Current relationships and knowledge-base include the following storage and server vendors...Apple, Brocade, D-Link, Fujitsu, Hitachi Data Systems, Pillar Data Systems, Quantum, QLogic, SpectraLogic and Zeus.

Distribution Account Manager for S. CA, CO, AZ, NM, NV, UT and HI, with approximately 25 reseller accounts that averaged $3M of revenue per quarter. Primary technology focus was Network Security software and hardware solutions; which included VPN/Firewalls, IDS, IPS and AV, AS, Web/Content Filtering, SSL, and two-factor authentication. In addition to managing the sales cycle for named accounts, worked jointly with anufacturers/vendors, product management and marketing to develop marketing and sales strategies to generate net new and incremental revenue.

As the team-lead of the Network Security practice, I was responsible for creating, developing and implementing, training curriculum for sales representatives and customers in becoming proficient with the following vendor policies and procedures; Checkpoint, NOKIA, McAfee, RSA, Internet Security Solutions, Extreme Networks and F5. In addition to providing technical and operational assistance, our team worked closely with marketing, operations, and finance to develop sales recruitment programs and promotions in order to generate incremental growth and revenue.
