Primarily focused on PMM, an open-source solution for monitoring databases and related infrastructure. MariaDB histograms are compact data summaries used by the query optimizer to plan querieseffectively.I worked on adding support for JSON as an on-disk histogram format. This allows MariaDB to store more metadata, and support even more histogram formats.

- Working on building a scalable remote storage for Prometheus rule evaluations in the Thanos project, while learning about distributed systems, gRPC, cloud-native observability, and its ecosystem.- Build and improve end-to-end tests to catch regressions.

- Build internal APIs and Slack integrations to ease adminstrative tasks and system observability.- Pushed for, and wrote the API documentation to help cross-team collaboration.- Improved legacy codebase using PHPUnit and PHPCodeSniffer for tests and linting.- Responsible for management and administration of MySQL servers running on AWS RDS.
