Michael and his family own and operate BLS, a woman-owned global chauffeured car service with offices in Atlanta, Boston, Hartford, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, Miami, New Jersey, New York, and San Francisco. BLS was founded 50 years ago by Phyllis and Jay David Okon. Michael and his brother Eric have worked in the company since they were kids. After Jay's passing in 2018, Michael and Eric took the reigns and with the help of their mother and CEO Phyllis, they continue to grow and expand BLS globally, while maintaining their father's legacy of personal service. In addition to running a global car service, Michael is also an award-winning and published author of 20 best-selling books including Monsterland, Pokergeist, Stillwell, The Flip, and Witches Protection Program. Michael is also an award-winning screenwriter. His screenplay Pokergeist won the Grand Jury Prize in the New York Film Festival. Michael is repped by Jon Levin at Sustainable Imagination and Melanie Tomanov at Katten Muchin Rosenman. Michael and his brother Eric also host the show Okon Bros on YouTube where they interview business people, entertainers, producers, influencers, and entrepreneurs from all over the world.
