I specialize in embedded software development, working on microprocessors. Notably, I develop for smart home devices and integrated with mobile and cloud applications.I develop applications and systems for a variety of clients, with a focus on Real Time embedded systems and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interfaces for Android and IOS apps.I work in a variety of languages from embedded python to Kotlin to C. I perform tasks such as subsystem architecture, system design, creating technical requirements, coding and testing.

I worked on a microcontroller (MCU), developing key features in C, such as the logging system and remote software upgrade system. I created a fast and flexible build system in MAKE, alongside a CI/CD deployment and test pipeline in Jenkins and Bamboo. I optimized for code space and performance in several areas including an I2C library resulting in 4x speed improvement.

I worked as a developer with the team launching M-RTOS, a new safety critical Real Time Operating System. In this role, I built and adjusted core components in C and Assembly, and developed new automated regression test applications. For regulatory compliance I wrote high and low level software requirements along side test documentation for traceability in line with DO-178C.
