During this period of time, the role on the Oil Platform was the teaching and mentoring of all the Foreign Nationals.To conduct the training and mentoring it required clear and precise communiction on the procedures of controlling the areas around the platform.Implimenting a safe systems of work - including clearing the areas when Oil Tankers were arriving or departing, which would involve coordinating with three Naval Patrol Craft, whilst still maintaining the safety of all persons aboard the Oil Platform. The management control of Oil Tankers waiting to come alongside the Al Basra Terminal, of which there would normally be up to 5 tankers.
