The Trenching & Equipment Supervisor has the responsibility for the Health, Safety and Welfare of the offshore Trenching & Equipment personnel, implementation and monitoring of compliance with the Global Marine safety management system, offshore systems resource management and management of work execution. • Act under instruction from the Shift Superintendent / Offshore Manager• Coordinate all Trenching operations during shift, in line with procedures and instruction from Shift Superintendent/OM• Effective communications via task specific toolbox talks and briefings so as oncoming shift are fully aware of ongoing tasks• To be safety aware, including organising and managing team safety, accident reporting, effective use of safety management system, undertake regular safety meetings and Risk Assessments• Effective handing of emergency situations and management of Trenching & Equipment team in such scenarios• Organising and managing the Trenching & Equipment team• Responsible for maintenance of system records, including drawings and certification ensuring in date and in keeping with company policy and legislative requirements• Monitor and report on system technical performance and preventative maintenance status• Motivate and manage all Trenching & Equipment personnel to maximise performance• Preparation of task specific procedures• Interface effectively with Client• Full in depth technical and operational awareness of the Trenching & Equipment systems• Ensure Technicians carry out all tasks in accordance with procedures• Training / Assessing Technician grades• Provide mentoring for subordinates• Carry out performance evaluations of all personnel under their supervision• Attend project meetings as required• Demonstrate working knowledge of Company IMS and associated operating procedures

I also gained promotion as installation supervisor attending the well recognised JNCO Cardre course, achieving top student for both battlefield and physical training disciplines. I also attended the first All Army Physical Training Instructors course at Aldershot. also passing out as top student in my section.
