I am a Mobile Engineer at Chipper Cash, a leading fintech company that offers cross-border payment services in Africa. I have a Master's degree in Information Systems from the American University of Nigeria, and a certificate in Tech Entrepreneurship from Udacity. I have also completed courses in Software Product Management from University of Alberta, and YC SUS 2019 from Y Combinator. My core competencies include API development, React Native, Redux, TypeScript, and Elasticsearch.At Chipper Cash, I have fixed tens of production bugs that prevented millions of users from buying and selling crypto, built user interfaces with TypeScript for crypto transactions, and wrote feature specifications for a robust app-wide downtime messenger and a voucher system. I have also refactored the TypeScript code-base into reusable modular components, and implemented logical functions to convert fiat to crypto using the exchange rate. Previously, I co-founded and led Vevet and Boncil, two startups that developed mobile apps for quick-commerce and social networking, respectively. I designed and built the front-end and back-end of both apps, using React Native, Redux, Node.js, MongoDB, Strapi, and PubNub, among other technologies. I also deployed the RESTful APIs to Amazon Web Services and Heroku, and improved their performance and security.
