As President of Trident Operating Company, I have been responsible for the overall ownership and/or performance of multiple companies. Trident PowerThe largest of these companies was Trident Power, a full-service retail energy company that served the northeast markets. Trident developed complete retail energy operations in New York, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. PowerLink PartnersLaunched in mid-2017, we completed our first acquisition in December of 2017 of a firm with operations serving electricity and natural gas to customers in the PJM ISO and NYISO. PowerLink’s role was to evaluate and negotiate the purchase and sale of retail energy companies and customer books with a focus on capital raising, deal structuring, negotiating and operating credit sleeves, hedging programs, and over the counter financial and physical power purchases. PowerLink has also provided consultancy services to strategic investors in the energy space in the US and South Africa and after a successful exit of the retail customer portfolio in 2019, PowerLink has focused primality on the procurement and consultancy space for commercial and industrial clients.Additional companies owned and operated under Trident Operating Company include UltraClear Energy Marketing, The Professional Sporting Clays Association, SuperFit Foods, LLC, and interests in ThrIVe Drip Spas.

Gridmatic Retail offers advanced retail renewable electricity solutions to large commercial and industrial customers. Gridmatic uses a foundation of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning to provide time matched renewable energy to offset customer consumption. The company provides advanced retail solutions for complex customers including variable load.

I played a key role in initiating strategies, leading and managing programs to ensure Priority Power clients are aware of the wide range of solutions related to power procurement, electrical transmission, and energy infrastructure. My goal was to develop and implement comprehensive energy solutions that create lower-cost and sustainable energy solutions with a specialty in Hydrogen and similar projects.I worked closely with clients to understand their current and future electrical and sustainability goals. I evaluated the economic and operational advantages of various scenarios for delivery infrastructure, supply, demand response, and sustainability options.

Founder and primary owner of Oasis Power, LLC that conducted business as Oasis Energy. Oasis Energy was a successful retail electric and natural gas company serving over 50,000 customers throughout eight states. Oasis Energy was successfully sold to Spark Energy in 2015.

− From the start-up stage, managed the company’s growth from start-up phase until pre-IPO. − Responsible for overall budgeting and P&L activity for all-electric markets. − Led all business units of business operations, including sales and marketing, customer service and billing, systems development, and power supply. − Managed market entry and growth in Texas, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Illinois, Connecticut and Massachusetts. − Led system development efforts and business priorities regarding the company’s online enrollment build-out. − Handled all supply and risk management decisions and was responsible for managing hedged positions.

I led the efforts to transition the company from full-service requirements supply to the self-managed portfolio. − Developed and managed capabilities to enable BP Trade Group to structure retail power products with mitigated risk.

I managed retail electric sales in PJM and mid-Atlantic markets. − Development and implementation of operational capabilities to acquire, sell and deliver power to large commercial and industrial customers in New Jersey, Texas, California, and Ohio. − Facilitation of multiple wind generation projects. − Establishment of the company’s first national marketing program for renewable energy in retail markets. − Senior dealmaker for long-term structured contracts.

I contributed to the growth of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR Buildings Program. − Vertically targeted sales to large commercial, industrial, and municipal organizations. − Worked with providers of electric generation and energy services as part of the ENERGY STAR Ally Program, to effectively meet changing customer demands.
