I act as sparring partner in my family-own Company in Denmark. The position is on a strategic level, where my primary role is overseeing new business opportunity and ensuring overall business growth in the company. Within the past 3 years the company has been turned around from a traditional transport company, to a company with extremely high service level and a very flexible approach to the market to ensure maximum growth. The company also now holds a large number of strategic contracts with the Danish trade environment, which makes use unique within our area of expertise.

My role in this position within B&O was, to build-up a new department in Asia Pacific for Enterprise. I was in charge of the hospitality business for Asia Pacific, and had at the end 8 people working in my department. Our high priority markets were China, Hong Kong, India, Macau and Australia where I went weekly. My role included high level strategic meetings and building relationship within the hospitality industry. This lead to a very high growth rate within a short time, and has made it possible for Enterprise to expend very positively.

My role within Expansion was to oversell development in areas like Eastern Europe, Middle East, North Africa, India and Pakistan. The last two countries I was a part of opening up the distribution and I spend majority of my time, ensuring growth and positive development in these areas. I was fully in charge of sales and marketing budget, which lead to a very close relationship with each dealer.

I was asked in this position to ensure a turn-around in the stores in Southern California. These stores were fully owned by Bang & Olufsen, and my role included full P&L responsibility and development within all the stores. Within the first 12 months of my operation, we were able to double the turnover in some major stores, and able to build a solid team that was the main reason for this growth.

I was in charge of the key account in my given area. My responsibility was to ensure that sales budget was met, and that my clients were happy with their solution. Finding new clients was a very important part of my job, which also lead to a double digit growth.

At this job I was fully in charge of the sales and staff in the store. This store was the latest in town, and the main B&O dealer. I was running this very closely with the owner, and for years made the daily decisions. This job gave me the foundation for where I am today, and I owe this to the fantastic people working in this company.
