Serve as the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Logistics Policy Project Manager. Responsible for developing, reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting policies, regulations and procedures that affect supply chain management equipment and inventory programs throughout VHA facilities. Establish and collaborate with Integrated Project Teams (IPT) to develop and make recommended policy decisions for inclusion in national directives. Serve as a VHA Procurement & Logistics Office subject matter expert on the VA Office of Acquisition & Logistics, Logistics Policy Review Committee, making recommended changes and reviewing recommendations for changes to overall VA policy documents. Represent the VHA P&LO as a supply chain subject matter expert on projects, meetings and committees, as required, such as the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) projects.Perform Quality Control Reviews (QCR) at VHA medical facilities, reviewing facility supply chain management operations for adherence to VA and VHA policies and directives and other governmental regulations. Collaborate with internal review teams to develop and revised current and future review and auditing criteria, review documents and checklists.Provide expert technical advice to VHA network and medical facility leadership and staff in matters relating to acquisition management, logistics, warehousing, asset and inventory management, as well interpretation of directives and regulations, as all other supply chain maters.Responsible for advising senior leadership on cost, schedule and performance issues and status related to projects managed. Held positions of increased levels of complexity and responsibility in Supply Chain Logistics, from intern to Department Head to VA Headquarters Supply Chain leadership. As Department Head of Logistics Service at the Orlando Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center (01/2012 – 04/2018), was responsible for the planning, direction,and financial management of the Supply Chain Service consisting of 106 full-time employees in the Inventory Management, Purchasing, Asset Management, Medical Supply Distribution, and Warehouse/Storage & Distribution Sections, and operating budgets in excess of $45 million. As supervisor, management analyst and project manager at VA Headquarters in Washington, DC (total 11 years), conducted quality audits, and provided oversight and set policy for supply chain logistics operations at 152 VA hospitals nationwide. Represented senior-level executives as a supply chain subject matter expert on projects, meetings and committees.

Senior Supply Chain Management Officer for the Orlando VA Health Care System, responsible for a Logistics/Supply Chain Department of 106 employees spanning two medical centers, three Outpatient Clinics and five Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. Responsible for the planning, direction, coordination, control, and financial management of the Service consisting of Personal Property/Asset Management; Storage and Distribution; Inventory Management, Purchasing, Medical Supply Distribution, Mail & Reproduction Sections, as well as Logistics/Supply Chain operations at two Outpatient Clinics, totaling approximately 106 employees. Responsible for and oversee the facility equipment inventory totaling over $173.8 million and 48,194 pieces of equipment, including the purchasing, inventory, utilization and disposal of all equipment on station. Develop and submit annual operational and budget reports in order to project budget and resource allocations for the operation of the department totaling over $45 million annually for operations and over $10 million annually for equipment. As the Chief Logistics/Supply Chain Management, was a key member of the Lake Nona Medical Center planning team, responsible for all phases of planning, coordination and management of projects related to the material readiness, storage, tracking, delivery and distribution/outfitting of over 6,000 pallets of new equipment and furnishings in the new $1.2 million square foot facility. Planned and coordinated the relocation of all hospital services and employees to the new Lake Nona facility without interruption of services provided to patients.

Supervisor in the Veterans Health Administration Procurement & Logistics Office. Provided oversight, direction, and advice to logistics and supply chain personnel throughout the VHA hospital network. Represented VHA Logistics interests in high-level Department meetings. Participated in national project initiatives as a Supply Chain and Logistics subject management expert for the Department.
