I’m a mechanical engineer with background in biomechanics research and medical device engineering. While I do love to work hands-on, most of the work I have done relates to product design, medical device manufacturing, modeling/simulation, and data science. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering at BYU, and I now currently work as an engineer at Merit Medical Systems.I'm a quick learner, and am obsessed with excellence with my passions. I love new challenges and learning from others. I get the most satisfaction from creating something great, or becoming something better. I keep myself occupied outside of school and work with family and athletics. As a husband and father, I strive to find balance between different aspects of my life. I recently finished competing as a cross country and track athlete in the NCAA, where I was privileged to be a part of the NCAA champion cross country team in 2019. I still enjoy running competitively on the roads representing Utah's Run Elite Program.
