Meet with clients and perform on-site measure-up/ preparation of existing (as-built) drawings. Drafting design drawings & 3D visualization material. Assembling design drawing packages/ contributing to drawing package requirements.

Working in office has been a great insight into the day to day operations of a small Toronto firm. I have been involved in client meetings, 3D digital model building, rendering, and orthographic AutoCAD documenting.

Maintaining site conditions, controlling and assessing damages, and placing/ maintaining contaminant control measures. Constructing A-frame support systems and excavating soil was a great introduction to on site construction practices and support systems.

Main tasks included general labor, steel re-bar and concrete forming as well as wood frame construction (framing, roofing, etc.). Working closely with the engineer on a majority of these project has provided me with invaluable experience of construction practices and on- site operations.
