Designed and developed the LifeRe EIS system in Pilot Software’s PDSS Environment, which consists of a multidimensional database back end and object based front end. This system allows users to review all P&L accounts at a treaty level on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis. It also produced full P&L Statements in any number of views on a STAT or GAAP basis. Assisted in the development and rollout of an in-house imaging system using Visual Basic, Windows API calls and Kodak Imageview Software. Assisted in the design and development of “open/Lifeflow” an Underwriting system, which was developed using Wang Software’s open/Workflow and open/Image products. This was developed in a joint venture with Wang Software to be sold into the direct insurance market. Participated in planning and execution of converting Cigna Re’s data into our business systems after purchase. Part of a team implementing Oracle Financials General Ledger and Accounts Payable system. Overseeing development of all interfaces into and out of the Financial packages.
