Working within the NEWest Alliance on the Yanchep Rail Extension Project (YRE), I helped deliver the 14.5km dual line track extension and worked on all stages of the construction from setting up major contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to planning and overseeing rail construction to final Entry into Service and close out.Key responsibilities during this role were;- Forecasting and managing costs in excess of $10m from material procurement to labour resourcing to ensure the project met budget and time constraints- Ensuring safe procedures and zero-harm culture was led by example by myself and the rest of the rail team- Delivering quality construction adhering to PTA standards with ITP creation and close out in an efficient manner

Working as a part of the team responsible for removing the Robinsons Road Level Crossing in Ravenhall, I primarily worked on relocating existing utilities such as gas, water, LV and HV electricity services to facilitate the bulk excavation to produce the road-under solution for the level crossing removal project. My responsibilities included;- Complete accurate forecasting and cost tracking utilties cost codes in excess of over $2M; - Delivering utility relocation scopes within strict time and cost parameters- Creating and closing all QA documentation punctually and delivering construction outcomes as per the design- Managing all stages of construction from Request for Quotation, contract award, subcontractor management and scope execution and close out- Proven dedication to the highest safety standards by developing SWMS and detailed excavation permits and ensuring adherence onsite

Working within the Structures team of Infrastructure, I was responsible for planning structural inspections of MTM such as bridges, Overhead structures, culverts and signals and subsequently planning for their repair or renewal as required.
