Responsible for the administration and operations of the Probation Network, Infrastructure, and Business Services making up the department's Automated Services Division. Oversee and deploy small and large scale technology projects in a department of over 1500 employees. Strengths include business process analysis, cost/benefit analysis to determine optimization of business needs. Identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement of quality outcomes while meeting organizational and budgetary objectives. Assist in contract review and negotiations for various department needs (software, medical services, and programs). Responsible for annual technology budget ($6.4 million), ongoing budgetary projections, business development and assessment for various projects designated to meet administrative strategic goals and initiatives.

Responsible for the day to day administration and operations of the Probation Network covering all of San Bernardino County utilizing eighteen staff compromising two teams (Infrastructure and Business). Oversee and deploy small and large scale technology projects in a department of over 1350 employees. Provide business process analysis, cost/benefit analysis to determine optimization of business needs. Identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement of quality outcomes while meeting organizational and budgetary objectives. Assist in contract negotiations for various department needs (software, medical services, and programs). Responsible for annual budget development and tracking for all technology related expenses. Provide budgetary projections development, ongoing procurement and roll outs of various projects designated to meet administrative strategic goals and objectives.

Oversight of all activities related to the transition of the county medical center for Year 2000 Compliance following move of medical center from old San Bernardino location to new medical center in Colton in April 1999. Following project completion, assigned as oversight of salvage operation team at old site. Coordinated consolidation efforts for all remaining assets preparing site for county auction and eventual abatement and demolition.

Director of day to day operations of the following departments; Cardioplumonary (includes Respiratory, Cardiology, Vascular, Neuro-Diagnostics), Radiology (including all sub-departments), Ultasound, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Skilled Nursing Facility Outreach Program. 1997 to 1999 additional dual assignment as Director of Cardiopulmonary Services at San Dimas Community Hospital.

Director of day to day operations of the following departments; Cardioplumonary (includes Respiratory, Cardiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation Vascular, Neuro-Diagnostics), and Skilled Nursing Facility Outreach Program.

Responsible for operational oversight of the Night Shift. Managed needs for general floor care, Intensive Care, Intensive Coronary Care, Emergency Room, Blood Gas Lab and all associated Respiratory Care Services on the night shift. Began offering services to operating room for high risk neonatal resuscitation needs which eventually expanded to all shifts. Attended all C-Sections and deliveries to assist in stabilization and supportive care of distressed neonates. Began Care of the High Risk Neonate classes and offered certification for physicians and staff in Neonatal Resuscitation and certification of staff in Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS). Oversight of design, review, and development of new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for hospital. Developed all policies and procedures, hiring and training of staff and opening of Unit in 1991. Developed Neonatal Transport team and offered services to local community hospitals for neonates not requiring tertiary care. Developed in-house training for Respiratory Care staff to provide advanced airway care (intubation), and one of the first protocols for the delivery of "artificial surfactant" for neonates at the community hospital level.
