I am a Real Estate and Land Use Attorney licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I concentrate my practice in the areas of real estate development, zoning and land use, and litigation with an emphasis on abandoned property actions, deed fraud and quiet title actions, and negligent construction. I am an expert in Pennsylvania’s Conservatorship law known as the Abandoned and Blighted Property Conservatorship Act (commonly known as Act 135) which has been instrumental in remediating abandoned properties in Philadelphia and returning them to productive use. I also have extensive experience litigating in Orphans’ Court.I work closely with many municipal agencies in Philadelphia including the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Department of Licenses & Inspections, the City Planning Commission, the Streets Department, the Philadelphia Historical Commission, as well as with other stakeholders such as elected officials and community members in obtaining zoning, building, and other permits for my developer clients who range from single member LLCs to national developers of real estate. I also represent my in securing real estate tax abatements and pursuing market-value assessment appeals before the Board of Revision of Taxes.I currently serve as a member of the Executive Committee for the Real Property Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
