Aws Cloud Cohesity Backup Engineer And Administrator / Project Manager
Dual Responsibilities involved undertaking the lead in architecting and delivering the first Cohesity Cloud DMaaS Enterprise Backup environment which now joins the Cohesity On-Prem environment. The other role is that of Project Manager for MassMutual's Security Operations team utilizing Jira to ensure all work stays on track utilizing Kanban to conduct daily standup meetings.At present, a variety of tasks are being performed, a joint collaborative effort between MassMutual and Cohesity engineers as we prepare to bring in our Non-Prod and Production AWS accounts. All of this is being put in place so that our On-prem systems that are utilizing Cohesity when they migrate to AWS, will be backed up by Cohesity Cloud.In this role, I create and implement cloud-based applications & services by utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS). I perform configuration and compliance across all technical applications to sharpen business operations. Support high-volume and multithreading application performance by designing Linux-based systems that drive productivity. I promote cost-effective, fully functional, policy-based services by centralizing and automating all data protection systems.• Implement Cohesity with DMaaS & SaaS systems to architect and deliver MassMutual’s first ever Enterprise Cloud backup solution. • Propel AWS migration initiatives by designing optimal cloud infrastructure applications to enhance systems backup operations. • Utilize SSO & MFA to strengthen security and authentication while eliminating risks.• Encourage successful DMaaS systems installation across KMS by drafting a comprehensive DMaaS technical manual with Confluence, demonstrating proper AWS/Server set-ups with Cloud Formation & SaaS Connectors. Offer detailed descriptions of accomplishing EC2 & RDS operational backups and restorations.• Develop and execute IT department’s first comprehensive communications intranet webpage with SharePoint.
