Install, calibrate, test, inspect, repair, and maintain flow computers and associated instruments for purposes of flow measurement in the oil, natural gas, chemical and refining process industries. Install, calibrate, test, inspect, repair, and maintain telemetry systems associated with SCADA host systems in the oil, natural gas, chemical and refining process industries. Familiar with the operation and installation of various associated instrumentation including, but not limited to, both electronic and pneumatic pressure switches, pressure and flow transducers, valves, actuators, gas monitors, flow meters, radar and mechanical level transmitters, valve positioners, transmitters of any nature, and variable frequency drives. Proficient in HMI programming including, but not limited to, RedLion and Magellis. Also fair very well in the communication protocol modbus using RS232, RS485, and TCP/IP.

Maintain and calibrate instruments including Rosemount and Yokogawa differential pressure, pressure, and level transmitters. Also tend to Rosemount P.H., conductivity, turbidity, ORP, and % concentration analyzers. Other analyzers worked on include Star Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Hach Phosphate, and Hach Silica. Work with numerous Fisher Fieldvue DVC 6200 positioners using Hart communications and Valvelink software.

Proficient with Hart 275/375/475, Honeywell, and Bailey smart communicators. Work on Foxboro P.H. and Pneumatic transmitters as well as I/P transducers. Calibrate and maintain Texas Nuclear Density Meters. Conductivity experience includes Rosemount meters. Also have knowledge of Fisher and Keystone valve positioners. Experienced with Transmation and Pyragon temperature transmitters using RTD’s and Thermocouples.Electrical experience includes troubleshooting and maintaining various 480V switch gear. Wire various 120, 480 and 4160 volt motors and motor starters. Troubleshoot and wire electrical portion of DCS and Instrumentation equipment. Perform maintenance and switching on high voltage equipment throughout plant.
