Help support and advanced CTE programing, including Business, Computer Science, Skilled Trades, Visual and Performing Arts.

I work directly with Studio Arts, Robotics and Automation, Pre-architecture, Construction Management, Interior Design, Multimedia Graphic Design, and Commercial Photography program areas. I strive to maintain commitment to quality instruction, the primary objective of the institution. Focus on demonstrating a strong commitment to the value of diversity among students and staff, as well as sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of ACC students.

- Plan and implement technology needs for the Art Department and consult on technology needs for the Design Media Lab and related classrooms/labs in collaboration with Educational Technology staff.- Supervise and conduct performance reviews of imaging and technology staff, student workers and interns. Direct assignment activities, workflow, budgeting, equipment acquisition and maintenance.- Serve as media and technology liaison to academic departments and programs, especially Educational Technology Services, College Libraries, Smith College Museum of Art and College Hall.- Oversee large multimedia repository, including coordinating a complex migration to a new hosted software platform.- Continuously evolve long-term department vision based on emerging technology, industry trends anddeveloping pedagogy.- Facilitate the creation of unique student employment opportunities to supplement curricular endeavorswith important technology skills and knowledge.- Develop and implement training calendar for faculty, students and staff. This includes offering a diverseseries of workshops and demonstrations focusing on media, instructional software and hardware.

- Lead instructional support specialist training faculty, teaching assistants and support staff on the campus learning management system (Blackboard 9.x)- Work closely with Server Administrators to debug integration with campus registration software and Blackboard Learn.- Develop support and training programs to help faculty advance their pedagogical and technological needs with the campus LMS.- Act as project lead to develop a new web presence for the department.- Evaluate emerging educational technology and pedagogical practices.- Provide tier I and II level support for technology-based instructional tools such as iClicker, BlackboardCollaborate, iPad and various presentation software.- Service on multiple campus advisory committees as an instructional technology and media expert.

- Manager of the Auraria Digital Resource Center servicing a tri-institutional urban campus.- Act as lead project manager for a campus-wide digital asset management initiative.- Work with a tri-institutional steering committee as well as a digital image collaborative to createdepartmental policies (MOU) as well as standards for our digital media collection.- Managed budget and staff for the department to ensure that all day-to-day production is expedited quickly and efficiently and that the entire digital media repository infrastructure is operating smoothly.- Offer technical instruction to faculty, students and staff on visual literacy, media integration and mediastorage, retrieval and preservation.

- Lecturer for the Visual Art Department developing and presenting course curriculum adhering to institutional pedagogy.- Design an upper division undergraduate course on Digital Media Archiving and Preservation.- Instruct a lower division course on the Introduction to Art Practices and History.- Instruct both lower and upper division Photography and Alternative Photographic Processes.- Facilitate a positive educational environment for 10-80 students.
