Michael Palermo is an experienced financial and strategic executive. Following a successful career in banking, he seized the opportunity to become an entrepreneur in the packaging sector. Michael leads Diebec, the largest tooling supplier to box manufacturing plants in Canada. In the last decade, the Company, founded in 1987, has grown organically and through acquisition, from a local player in Quebec to an internationally recognized brand. Diebec obtained its Bobst Certification in 2021 and has product patents in various countries. Michael began his career in 2002 at a federally run financial institution. He worked his way through various positions in the banking profession, from small business relationship manager to associate Vice-President. As a banker, he specialized in the agri-foods industry and has done some significant deals in the clean energy industry, hotel and airport service industries.He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the John Molson School of Business.During the course of his career, Mr. Palermo managed a successful retail business, served on the board of the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association and presided and participated in various fundraising activities.
