Every place I visit, every face I see, every mundane experience that dulls the senses of most folks becomes the fodder for new writing material. Bits of conversation drifting my way in the checkout lane at the supermarket become the genesis for the development of a new character, perhaps stored away in some data file until his/her usefulness in a story line becomes apparent. A traffic ticket unloaded unfairly on an unsuspecting individual because he happened to be driving through a rural speed trap immortalizes that officer forever in the world of fiction. A slip of the tongue from one of my children that makes everyone around the table laugh is engraved in a dialogue in an upcoming book. Now the world shares that laugh with us! Reader beware! No one is exempt from an Author's imagination!
