Current- Created the Groovix Public Access Computing system, bringing a secure user-friendly Linux environment to thousands of public computers in libraries around the world- Built the Groovix Web Print utility using Angular and Django REST framework to allow printing from any Internet-connected device- Designed and implemented the Groovix Print Management system using Python and JavaScript to allow self-service paid printing with coinboxes- Architected the Groovix time quota system from scratch using Python GTK+ desktop GUIs and Python, MySQL, and PHP server components- Created the Groovix NetControl configuration management system to manage thousands of computers with minimal overhead using Bash scripts- Implemented a customizable authentication system using Perl, Python, and C++ to authenticate users against SIP2 library card systems, external APIs, and internal MySQL guest pass databases- Combined open source PHP code with Python to create Groovix reservations and monitoring software- Presented the advantages of Linux and open source software at conferences including ALA, GIPAW, and PALINET- Created customizable automatic build systems for Linux distributions, Debian packages, and Linux kernels- Deployed and managed Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat, and CentOS servers on many platforms including Google Cloud and Amazon AWS- Secured thousands of Linux computers for over 10 years without a single security breach- Brought the worlds first 3D graphics capable multi-user desktop computer to market- Administered all aspects of the business including marketing, sales, hiring and managing contractors
