Enhances weekly sales and labor forecasts for the Culinary Department to optimize sales and profitability, while ensuring operations remain within the designated labor percentage. Monitors and manages all costs and expenses, which includes maintaining accurate ordering and inventory control, ensuring correct weighing procedures, minimizing shrinkage, and overseeing advertisement displays.Leads the Culinary Dept team through effective hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and conducting necessary performance reviews, ensuring all staff are well-versed in policies and procedures. Supervises shift operations by writing and approving dept work schedules.Ensures promotional flyer items are fully stocked and available for sale during business hours, and that products for upcoming promotions are ordered, stocked, and ready for processing.Organizes and stocks food service cases, focusing on product presentation, alignment, filling, and organization according to Culinary Department schematics, while ensuring accuracy in tagging and pricing.Maintains cleanliness and safety in food service aisles, storage areas, and workspaces by cleaning shelves and products, preventing liquid spills, removing hazardous debris, and sweeping floors.Engages positively with customers, assisting with inquiries and purchases at the food service counter, and actively promoting and cross-selling products.Receives, inspects, and logs incoming products to verify shipment accuracy, temperature compliance, and quality standards.Monitors the rotation of food service products, with special attention to expired stock, and responsibly discards any outdated or spoiled items.Balances the Culinary Dept general ledger and financial statements, ensuring accountability for all departmental margins.Coordinates pre-inventory preparation, ensuring back stock is managed and tags are accurately matched to products.Oversees department inventory control to prevent stock shortages or overages.
