Having worked for Lloyds Banking Group since 1989, I enjoyed many roles within Retail and Bancassurance, however my most enjoyable period was when I joined Private Banking in 2008. I enjoyed great success as a Private Banking Manager from April 2008 to June 2013.I was promoted to Area Manager of St Albans Private Banking Office in June 2013 and led the St Albans team to a successful 2nd half of 2013 and first half of 2014, exceeding expectations and growing our client base through strong relationship management and customer service. In June 2014 Lloyds Banking Group restructured its Wealth proposition and I was successful in being appointed to the role of Relationship Director (Lloyds Bank Private Banking), leading a team of 10 Private Banking Advice Managers in the London & Southeast Region. In June 2019 the Lloyds wealth business moved into a joint venture with Schroders and formed Schroders Personal Wealth. My role remained the same and it was an exciting opportunity to be part of an ambitious wealth business with a desire to be one of the top wealth firms in the UK.In April 2020, following the positive SPW national structure change to run 11 regional hubs, I took up the role of Client Service Manager in London.This meant full responsibility for the leadership of the regional administration & support function, developing intra-office communication protocols, MI production/analysis and most importantly, creating delivery of great client service for the end-to-end journey. I built a team of 13 Personal Wealth Support colleagues who would support the London Region, which is the largest in the country.Following the announcement of further significant restructure in SPW at the end of 2020, the Client Service Manager role was redundant beyond March 2021 and therefore, In April 2021, I left the business after almost 32 years continuous service.I have now embarked on a very exciting period of my career as a Mortgage Specialist with Aqua Mortgage Services, meeting the mortgage, insurance and protection needs of new clients in and around Bedfordshire.
