Rowntree Montessori is preparing for an incredible journey into 21st Century learning. They have been leaders in Lego Robotics and are continuing to dive deeper into STEM. My primary role has been to advise Administration on benefits and drawbacks of both Google Apps For Education and Office 365, Evaluate a variety K-12 Learning Management Systems and recommend one best suited for their ecosystem as well as discuss a variety of legacy systems to be discontinued in preparation for a student 1:1 program.

As the first ICT Educational Specialist at Rotherglen my role is to support teacher needs and showcase best practice models of instruction. With a very nimble team of two, we have managed to support 3 campuses with their IT needs.While at Rotherglen my achievements included:Spring/Summer 2015Migrate all campuses from Microsoft Office 365 (with hosted Exchange eMail) to Google Apps for Education. Included project planning, data migration, backup / infrastructure design, application training and support.Select and implement AirWatch EMM to manage all school devices. Arrange all device enrollment, cleanup and redeployment, manage the Apple VPP, provide documentation and training.The GAFE and EMM projects have vastly improved the learning experience for students as well as the efficiency of teachers and I.T.

As the first ICT Educational Specialist at the Delia School of Canada I have been involved in creating a program with fellow teachers that integrates technology into everyday teaching. My role is to support teacher needs and produce best practice models of instruction.

As a Grade 3 homeroom teacher I was involved in implementing day to day lessons. I encouraged students to learn and gained experience on how to balance results with the enjoyment of school.
