He also served as chairman of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Military Law Section from 2009 to 2011, and he received the 2010 Annual Distinguished Legislative Services Award for advancing a bill, signed into law in 2013, that amends the New Jersey Family Law Act with respect to military child custody issues.
