Producing online content including video, audio and written pieces as well as managing the social media platforms for WS FM101.7 and Jonesy & Amanda In The Morning

This role involved working on a number of websites promoting various financial advisors, including Barratt’s Bulletin, The Market Minute, Share Scene and Share Cafe. I am involved in sourcing and editing material including still images, audio and video to produce online content and update various homepages. I edit, upload and distribute a daily online subscription service and newsletter using various CMS. I also moderate a number of chat rooms as well as manage the websites’ social media platforms.My role also includes regularly liaising with clients and advertisers in regards to content and advertising featured on these sites, and I am also involved in customer service.

In this role I provided written content and edited audio for rugbyleaguelive.com.au. livenews.com.au and 2GB.com.au. This involved producing and sourcing relevant stories, audio, images and videos, as well as writing content covering entertainment, sport and news to be featured on the relevant sites. I was also involved with moderating chatrooms and story comments for all three sites.I worked with journalists, announcers and show producers in producing the highest quality content achievable.I also edited and uploaded podcasts onto iTunes and the relevant websites, as well as managing download statistics, and was involved with software maintenance.

My role as a content producer for the Triple M Sydney website involved writing content, editing and uploading audio vignettes and video, editing images and managing blogs and moderating chatrooms. The content was based around the various radio programs with a strong focus on music, entertainment and sport.I produced photo galleries and also researched and created various online quizzes based on various musical acts.I also worked closely with the announcers and their producers to develop concepts into feasible online content. As Podcast Manager I oversaw both the Today FM and Triple M Networks. This role involved editing and uploading audio for various radio programs onto Tunes and the stations sites.. I was also involved in software implementation, managing audio producers, collating statistics and quality control. I worked with sales, programming and show and audio producers on some of the most popular radio podcasts in the country.I was involved in downloading, editing and then uploading into the stations digital system commercials and also a number of songs for broadcast on both 2DAY FM and MMM.I also recorded several commercials as a voice over artist.

In this role I hosted and produced a daily breakfast radio program, with occasional weekend shifts. I would also produce pre-recorded programs featuring voice-tracks built around music and commercials using Next Gen software.I also built the daily music log for the station, which had an A/C format aimed at a 40+ demographic. This role involved creating and exporting playlists using Selector software. I would also produce APRA/AMCOS reports. I organised the imaging, interviews and promotions for the program. I also produced and voiced commercials and promo spots, as well as organising various on-air promotions in conjunction with record companies and local businesses.

As well as producing a weekly breakfast program, I was also Music Director. This involved building daily music logs using Selector, sourcing new material, filing APRA reports, liaising with record company representatives and organising the music library.The radio show had a strong emphasis on listener interaction and therefore included competitions, talk-back topics and numerous outdoor broadcasts that I was heavily involved in organising.

I worked in London for over two years as a marketing and sales representative for a company that was out sourced by Conde Nast, Dennis Publishing and MediaStar. This involved dealing with suppliers and retailers in the distribution and promotion of their product.

Reporting to a Network PD, I managed the announcing team and production manager in my role as Program Director. I was involved in organising rosters, chairing weekly announcer meetings and ensuring all tactics organised by the Network PD were implemented. I also produced and hosted a breakfast radio show that ran six days a week.

I produced and hosted the afternoon radio program and was also in charge of music programming. This involved the duties of building a daily playlist using Selector, organising the music library, recording music onto a digital storage system and filing APRA reports.The music format was a Classic Hits format with a soft AC edge.I was also involved in organising promotions in conjunction with record company representatives and local clients.

My first position in radio was as announcer for the breakfast program. I also worked as Music Director, which involved producing music logs for a network of thirteen stations with a HOT AC/TOP 40 format aimed at 18-39 year olds. I sourced new music, organised APRA reports and controlled the music library. I worked with record companies in programming music, as well as organising interviews with artists and sourcing promotional giveaways.
