Installation of internet, TV, and phone for business and residential customers. Used meters for measuring signal loss while testing all lines to ensure that specifications were met to cable and company installation guidelines.

Installed data/voice lines, audio systems, video systems, and paging systems for new schools, office buildings, and departmental stores.

Installation of cable, TV, and phone. Repair work for services which were down due to weather, defects, or trouble in the telephone line.

Conditioned pairs; committing one pair per household ending at the designated terminal for that house. Replaced aerial terminals, buried pedestals and repaired wires that were damaged from weather conditions and rodents. Completed cross box updates; spliced new cables into modules, once spliced, connected modules to their designated blocks, and completed the end to end testing.

We tested Commutators for strength, agility, endurance, and we were responsible for the implementation, testing, and documentation. We measured TIR (Total Indicated Run-out), Concentricity, and Roundness with the use of a Federal Formscan 3200. In daily contact with our engineers to discuss blueprints, troubleshooting problems with customer’s products, and how we can improve testing procedures to meet with the customer’s expectations.
