I lead improvement efforts and root cause analysis focused on specific issues or identified problems. Usually complex, and always cross-team and vendor-inclusive, these 'Tiger Teams' provide deep analysis of causes, impacts, and opportunities that emerge in or after significant issues or outages.This work also educates my alternative role as a Major Incident Management uh... Manager. I am a response-driven leader as we work these MIM events (e.g., major outages causing store, regional, or enterprise-wide impact) to a successful recovery.

I led efforts to stand up our ISOC Team. This group of 3 Team Members was in charge of identifying opportunities for improvement in processes, vendor activity, billing, and cross-team interactions. This group successfully engaged efforts to formalize governance of vendor partners, identify and track Problem issues to resolution, and provide assistance to teams needing an extra set of eyes on a problem or task.

Led working teams during an organizational transitioning period. During this time, I successfully led cross-team program review and multi-vendor renewals of our desktop, server, and more sophisticated security platforms. I also led efforts to stand up our internal Security Team and transition various platforms to the new team for day-to-day monitoring and response.

Lead a team of Network Engineers in support of broad responsibilities for Enterprise WAN and ATX Campus networks. In addition to handling normal leadership responsibilities and oversight, our Team worked through a number of types of efforts through the years.We planned and executed bandwidth improvements to our stores and at our core locations in Austin, performed large-scale core network infrastructure and security deployments, and supported internal IP telephony/video from client-to-server-to-client. At the heart of our responsibilities, was the maintenance and upgrade lifecycle required to support a complex and very heterogeneous mix of platforms and databases.
