Working every day to make Canadian public services the best they can possibly be. This involves meaningful engagement with stakeholders and business owners, continuous process analysis and implementing Lean principles to ensure efficient and client centered service delivery. I am currently working as the project manager on an enterprise service management project that will transform the management of services for the department. This project will enable a single online window for PSPC services which will also provide the framework to ensure continual service improvement, enable online service requests, support and real time performance data.Working within the project team for the e-Procurement Solution was a very interesting challenge. Utilizing the SMART procurement process for vendor engagement to learn how to procure SaaS in a secure public cloud was one of the most exciting learning experiences of my career. Representing the Project Management Office at the table where discussions between ADM's, CIO's and executive leaders was a very unique experience as discussions and decisions were breaking new ground for secure public cloud solutions. The overall experience has given me significant knowledge and experience in the management of a complex, inter-department, IT enabled project for the federal government.My term as a Municipal Councillor provided me with excellent experience in governance and oversight for program and project management, as well as the importance of meaningful engagement with citizens of the municipality when developing and providing client-centric services. While working with a training team at the Acquisitions Branch, I gained valuable business management experience while managing the central training and finances for the branch. Analyzing, developing and implementing efficient business processes for the training program.
