I started my career at Dreyfus in 1988 to 1998. I worked on Money Market Funds. It was a big challenge because there wasn’t many automated tasks at the time, actually I had to share a keyboard with my fellow colleague. That’s where I became strong in a team orient atmosphere. We were able to monitor our tasks so that we can finish our daily work. My daily work consisted of calculating collateral for repurchase agreements, manual spreadsheets, accruals and expenses. After a few years I transferred to an Equity group to get more experience in different funds and how they operate. I finished my career a Senior Accountant at Dreyfus. I started a new career at The Bank of New York in 1998 -2021. BNY was made up of more diversified set of funds. It was a challenging group but gave me the experience that I was looking for. I worked on bond funds, derivatives and money market funds. Moved to Florida in 2003. The company was opening up a new facility in Lake Mary and decided to relocate. I was hired as a Senior Accountant and finished a Assistant Supervisor/ Analyst. My roles at BNY was working on the monthly, quarterly and semiannual audits for the group as well as my daily work. This gave me the experience on the background and the operation of all the funds. Whether it be equity, bond or a derivative fund. As you can see I have over 33 years experience in Asset Servicing. My strongest point is customer service. I have always developed a professional relationship with all the clients that I were appointed to. I have never had any issue with being disrespectful. I work extremely well with other colleagues. I have no problem with feedback from them.
