Photographer, Ecotherapist, Mindfulness
CurrentAs a photographer, I started as a newspaper photographer in 1987 where I learned the cut and thrust of how the media worked. Working at Community Newspapers, WA Business News and WA Chamber of Commerce and Industry, I was privileged to work with state premiers and corporate industry leaders. Working as a freelance, my focus turned to publishing my own work. Working with leading magazines such as Australian Geographic and 4WD monthly, I have hundreds of feature articles published. That lead to working with multinational publishers Macmillan to create over 70 children's educational books. My love of adventure and exploration helped to develop a relationship with HEMA maps and six publications. I also worked with Trails WA and Tourism WA in my specialty field of trails. Always using photography as a way of connected people to nature. I furthered my education in this area with a Ecotherapy certificate. As a qualified coach, I help people to use the techniques and process of photography to access mindfulness.
