Peny Australia was established in 1997, initially importing polishing cloths for one of Australia's largest car care companies. Over the years, the business expanded into auto accessories, automotive promotional products, and beyond, specialising in microfibre and becoming one of Australia's largest importers.As the Director of New Product Development, I led the launch of new products across the car care, health, promotional and fashion industries. I collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new products into existing operations, and developed customised solutions to meet the specific needs of clients, resulting in increased repeat business over 20+ years.I was deeply involved in overseeing the manufacturing processes at numerous factories in China, regularly conducting on-site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and optimised production processes. My hands-on approach allowed me to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring that our products met the highest standards before being exported to global brands.Key Achievements:Spearheaded new product development initiatives that captured significant market share and reduced costs for clients.Managed and optimised inventory processes to minimise stock-outs and overstock situations.Enhanced client relationships through regular communication and high-quality service delivery, contributing to long-term business success.Conducted regular factory inspections in China, ensuring consistent quality and efficient operations across the supply chain.Expanded into international markets, driving revenue growth through strategic market analysis and tailored sales strategies.
